Pimping Superstorm Sandy

I wonder when the Black Friday shopping numbers are finally if well see an increase of sale compared to last year? Even if its regional I would assume Sandy has forced people to buy new things. The only obstacle to that theory is if your home is a wreck where will you put the things you get on sale? taking advantage of sandy to make money or pimping a storm shows it self in the form of higher insurance rates in flood zones, companies hawking prep materials, bulk food etc. phony contractors scamming people, to even the criminals who didnt wait & startied robbing homes & business during the storm itself. even the city asked for funds for sandy which will boost a portion of the economy even if regional. I thought of an idea on twiter called #BKPreppers . I think us city dwellers need more information & planning when it comes to future sandy type events. people were buying chicken before sandy hit as if the lights, freezers, stoves, microwaves werent going to go out. Also seems like weve forgotten the gas shortage and the loss of control you experienced during its peak. On the bright side I think by summer/fall 2013 there will be a "Sandy Baby Boom" from whatever end of world sex that was going on. Hopefully 30 minutes is enough to cover it all, if not well come to these topics next week.
