The poor will be with you always, not poverty. Jesus became poverty for us. Poverty was supposed to leave Earth when Jesus died on Calvery. He will come back to finish it because we are failing. The Good Samaritan wanted the Christ Child. He picked him up and carried him. The Samaritan never put the Christ Child back down. He continued to care for him. He had compassion. He got rid of poverty and found a poor man. Do You want the Christ Child? Really??
