Tamisha Macklin knows the inside of the foster care system. Growing up in various homes, kinship care and six juvenile centers from age 7-19. Pursuing a Degree in Social Work at the Community College of Denver. Traveling and speaking in Washington, NACC conference and an advocate for foster youth in Colorado. She emancipated with the determination to improve the system and her life, she helped pass several bills through the Colorado Legislature for youth, by lobbying before the bills that were heard and by testifying at the Capitol.
